Convert-A-Ball Pintle Mounting Bar Review - 2014 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2014 RAM 2500, we'll be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball cushioned adjustable Pintle mounting bar for 2-inch hitches rated at 10,000 pounds, part number AMPC2. Now we'll be using the Blue Ox Hitch Reducer Sleeve from a 2 1/2 inch to a 2 inch hitch, part number BX88187. Before we begin our test fit we'll need to get the hitch height of our pickup truck. With the adapter already inserted into the hitch, we have about a 24 inch hitch height. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style or after market accessories. We'll now begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the mounting bar in the drop position into our adapter sleeve. We'll line up the two pin holes and then continue to slide the sleeve back into the hitch. We'll then insert the pin through all three of the pin holes and secure the clip on the other side. With the mounting bar in this position, I'll give you two quick measurements. more
